Student Application Process
Apply to Study at SJTI
We welcome applications from prospective students who feel called to academic formation and holistic development. Our application process is simple, secure, and completed online.
Step 1: Choose Your Programme
Before applying, ensure you meet the entry requirements for your chosen programme:
- BA Human and Social Development Studies
- BA Philosophy
- BA Theology
- Postgraduate Diploma
Applicants must carefully review the programme requirements before proceeding.
Step 2: Complete the Online Application Form
Click the Apply Now button on our website and complete the online application form.
You will be required to provide:
- Personal information
- Contact details
- Educational background
- Programme of choice
⚠️ Please ensure that all information is accurate and complete. Incomplete or incorrect applications may delay processing.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
During the application, you will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Certified copy of Identity Document or Passport
- Highest academic qualification(s)
- Full academic transcript(s)
- Proof of application fee payment (if applicable)
- Any additional documents required for your programme
📄 All documents must be clear, readable, and in PDF format where possible.
Step 4: Submit Your Application
Once all sections are completed and documents uploaded, submit your application online.
After submission:
- You will receive an application reference number
- Your application status will be marked as Pending Review
Step 5: Application Review & Verification
The Registrar’s Office will:
- Review your application details
- Verify submitted documents
- Assess eligibility for the selected programme
⏳ Please allow adequate time for processing.
Step 6: Application Outcome
You will be notified by email once a decision has been made:
- Accepted – You will receive further instructions on registration
- Provisionally Accepted – Additional documents or conditions may be required
- Unsuccessful – You will be informed accordingly
Applicants may be contacted if clarification or additional documentation is required.
Step 7: Registration & Enrollment
Successful applicants will be guided through:
- Registration confirmation
- Fee arrangements
- Orientation and academic commencement details
Important Notes for Applicants
- Applications must be completed by the applicant. Third-party submissions are discouraged.
- Only applications submitted through the official online platform will be considered.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee admission.
- SJTI reserves the right to verify all information provided.
