The Formation for Formators (FFF) course is not only an academic journey but also a holistic process that nurtures human relationships, community life, and shared experience. Formation, at its core, is about people walking together, learning from one another, and growing in trust and collaboration.

On Saturday, 17 January 2026, participants in the Formation for Formators course stepped outside the classroom for an enriching outing to uShaka Marine World in Durban, South Africa. The day offered a refreshing balance between learning, reflection, and recreation.

Participants explored the aquarium, where they encountered the beauty and complexity of marine life, followed by the engaging and inspiring dolphin and seals show, which sparked awe and appreciation for creation. These moments provided not only enjoyment but also opportunities for informal conversation and shared reflection among the group.

The outing concluded with a picnic that naturally evolved into a team-building experience. In a relaxed and joyful setting, participants bonded, exchanged stories, and strengthened relationships. Such moments are essential in formation, as they foster unity, mutual understanding, and a sense of belonging.
