Pietermaritzburg, South Africa — Green Hearts South Africa continues its Sanitary Towels and School Shoes Donation Project, an ongoing initiative dedicated to restoring dignity, supporting education, and responding to the practical needs of vulnerable learners in our communities.
The project addresses persistent challenges faced by many learners, particularly young girls, who often miss school or struggle to participate fully in their education due to a lack of basic necessities such as sanitary products and appropriate school footwear. Through this sustained effort, Green Hearts SA aims to ensure that learners are able to attend school with confidence, comfort, and dignity.

Access to these essentials plays a vital role in promoting learners’ health, self-esteem, and academic performance. By maintaining this project as an ongoing intervention, Green Hearts SA remains committed to long-term, practical support rather than once-off assistance.
Community members, institutions, faith-based organisations, and partners are encouraged to contribute and support this project on an ongoing basis. Donations, partnerships, and volunteer support are welcomed throughout the year.
